“She sleeps on a couch which is exactly next to our bed and doesn’t go out. She’s just a kid and I’m probably overreacting but I want to kick her out. A couple of days ago she told me that it would be better to live with us for a longer period of time because she wouldn’t be able to pay her bills and rent even if she finds a job.”
She has attempted to discuss everything with her boyfriend on multiple occasions, but he makes excuses like his sister is still a child and they can’t expect so much. It’s really irritating her though that her boyfriend’s sister won’t help clean up, won’t cook, won’t wash dishes, and won’t do laundry.
Her boyfriend’s sister really doesn’t even try to help out and pitch in, and that on top of her not paying a cent to live with them is too much for her. Also, this girl is not paying for any of the food that she is eating in their house, and she’s stealing her clothing and skincare products without returning them.
“I keep telling my BF that she’s just 8 years younger than me and it’s not fair to give us this princess attitude because when I was her age and just moved into the big city I had to live with horrible roommates, worked whatever I could find (she’s picky and delusional about her work options) and genuinely would feel bad if I live in someone’s place without helping with the chores around or money even if it’s family,” she continued.
She feels her boyfriend is being ridiculously protective of his sister, and she wants to kick this girl right out. Do you think she’s mean for wanting to ask her boyfriend’s sister to find alternative living arrangements?
