Her mom and dad’s opinions have only made her feel even worse about losing her fiancé.
She doesn’t want to give her brother the ring because her grandma gave it to her and her fiancé, not just so that the ring would stay in their family; her grandma had a special bond with her fiancé and wanted her to be the one to wear the ring.
She tried suggesting to her parents that maybe her mom can give her brother her engagement ring, so there’s still a special family heirloom aspect to his engagement, but they won’t compromise.
“I keep getting badgered by the family over the ring and how I’m being unreasonable and spiteful, ruining what should be a lovely moment for my brother,” she continued.
“I’m far too raw to judge this clearly is it so wrong of me to intend to keep the ring?”
