Then, she decided to kick her efforts up a notch in a more extreme way. First, she scanned the original family photos onto her phone.
And afterward, she actually paid one of her friends to photoshop herself out of them.
According to her, the photoshopped versions were pretty obviously photoshopped. Still, she was hoping that nobody would notice from a quick glance– and she was right, for a while.
She got away with two photo swaps at her mother’s house before she got caught in the act a third time. And when her mom saw what she was doing, her mom was furious.
Her mother claimed that she had no right to take the pictures or vandalize the others since it was not her house.
“But, I pointed out that I only took my photos and only put removable stickers on the others,” she said.
Still, her mom did not care. In fact, her mother was actually so angry that she got banned from her mom’s house until she gave the original photos back.
On top of that, the rest of her family has also begun pressuring her to just hand over the photos since, after all, Thanksgiving is right around the corner.
Despite that, though, she still refuses– and believes that her mother might just be resentful of her weight loss.
Apparently, her mother is obese and, ever since she lost the weight, has made “weird comments” about her journey– like calling her vein or claiming she is stroking her ego.
“Another time, my mom insisted on giving me a coat that was three times too big. And when I said no, she asked if I was too good for it,” she recalled.
