He then informed his wife that he was positive his mom and stepsister didn’t know wedding etiquette and that you shouldn’t wear white to a wedding.
The wedding continued, and he realized that his wife was not able to have a nice time at her wedding because of his stepsister’s outfit.
Then, his wife’s friends insisted on talking about his stepsister’s dress, so he eventually did do something about it.
“I finally asked mutual family to ask them to leave, but my wife feels it was too little too late and that I didn’t defend her,” he said.
“She says as women, there is no way they didn’t know, especially my mom, and that I chose to play dumb because I didn’t want the confrontation. Her friends were all backing her, and I feel awful over this and wish I just kicked them out the moment I saw them.”
He’s left wondering if it was wrong to try to give his mom and stepsister the benefit of the doubt at his wedding.
Do you think he should have kicked his stepsister out the moment she showed up in a white sparkly dress?
