Then, after her fiancé got home from work a few nights ago, his mother claimed to have seen a tiny dragon flying by her window.
So, her fiancé’s mother came to the conclusion that the little dragon statue had brought a demon into their home. Moreover, the statue needed to be thrown away immediately.
Anyway, after she heard all of this from her fiancé, she told him they would just get rid of the statue when they gave it to her mother. But apparently, her fiancé was completely against that idea.
He claimed that if she gave it to her mother, then anything that happened to her mother afterward would be her fault. In fact, he literally said that “sin would be on her hands.”
To be honest, though, she just does not believe the dragon is the culprit of any malevolent energy.
So, she told her fiancé that it’s a good thing she can just repent in church after she gives the statue to her mother– because she refuses to just throw it away.
Well, her fiancé still apparently really wanted to throw it away, which has since created a lot of issues in their relationship. Most notably, she has no idea why her fiancé will not stand up for her against his mother.
“I told him if he’s not going to stand up for me about a stupid dragon, then how can I trust that we will stand up for me later?” she vented.
For whatever reason, though, her fiancé just did not get that comparison. In fact, he just claimed she was being ridiculous before getting pretty quiet and going to bed.
And to be clear, this is not the first time she has had to throw out items because of her fiancé’s mother, either.
For instance, she also had to pass up her grandfather’s vintage vinyl record collection because her fiancé’s mother believed they somehow hosted demons, too.
