The next course of action is to sprinkle chocolate chips across the top and stick it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
For the cannoli frosting, place a stick of butter and 8 ounces of mascarpone in a bowl and beat it until it’s smooth. Then, add half a cup of ricotta and one teaspoon of vanilla. Blend it again. Next, add a half cup of heavy cream and one cup of powdered sugar into the mixture while still blending.
Once the cake is cool, spread on the frosting and throw some more chocolate chips on top. If you can find cannoli shells to use, that’s great, but a box of waffle cones can work just as well. Break up the waffle cones and sprinkle the crumbs on top of the cake.
Finally, your cannoli cake is complete! Everyone will go insane over it.
