In a large bowl, dump in a box of cake mix, crack open two eggs and pour in some oil. Mix everything up and when you’re about halfway done, add some nutmeg and cinnamon.
“So what you’re looking for is a dough consistency. You don’t want this to be too watery at all, like regular cake mix. That’s why we do two eggs and half a cup of oil instead of following the instructions that are on the cake mix box,” she explained.
Then, place the cookies on a greased baking sheet. She’s got a great hack for making your cookies perfectly round. All you have to do is grab a cup and put it over your cookies to shape them.
Go ahead and stick them in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about twenty minutes. And in just a short matter of time, you’ll have the sweet aroma of warm, fragrant cookies floating through your kitchen.
She made seven big cookies using her recipe, but if you want more, you can easily cut the cookie size in half to make fourteen. She also uses homemade cream cheese icing to top her cookies off; however, if you want to make your life easier, store-bought works just as well.
Once you’ve applied the icing, sprinkle some cinnamon and pecans on top. Finally, they’re all ready to devour now!
