“My boyfriend was just sitting there with his arms crossed, not doing anything incriminating in the photo, but my boyfriend, drunk, shared it to his own Instagram story at 4 am then deleted it the second he woke up at 9 am.”
She confronted her boyfriend about the photo, and he said sorry before saying that he realized the photo does not look good. Still, he swore up and down that he only sees his coworker as a sister to him and that they do not chat outside of the office.
She replied back to her boyfriend that it was time for him to tell his coworker to cool it and set some boundaries because how this woman is acting is not respectful of their own relationship.
Her boyfriend refused to do that, citing that it would make his life at work uncomfortable for him, before again insisting he was only friends with his coworker.
“I said I’ve not met the girl to know what their relationship is like, but in that picture, they looked like a couple,” she said.
“He then changed his mind and said he would say something, but I’m doubting if he will and whether he just said that to keep me quiet. What do I do in this situation? Part of me wants to message the colleague because who does that with someone that’s in a relationship, and I want to know if she thinks there’s something going on. Do I trust my boyfriend, or am I being taken for an idiot?”
