On one hand, he did spend a significant amount of money on this ring, but on the other hand, she had always trusted him up until this point, and it breaks her heart to know that she can’t keep trusting him now that she caught him in a big lie.
She’s also concerned that by addressing this issue with her boyfriend that she might come across like she’s spoiled, which she’s afraid of.
