Her Boyfriend’s Family Has A Tradition Of Wearing Ugly Sweaters To Christmas Dinner, But After She Refused To Wear One, His Brothers Accused Her Of Being Uptight

She got to her boyfriend’s family’s house, and one of his brothers opened up the front door. As soon as he saw her, she could see on his face that he wasn’t pleased that she did not have the ugly Christmas sweater on.

“My boyfriend was really pissed when he saw me, and we argued in the guest room for a little bit,” she said.

“His brothers teased me for being uptight, and I could tell the jokes embarrassed my boyfriend. I ended up leaving the party early without my boyfriend, and we’ve been fighting via text since.”

She’s left wondering if she should have been more light-hearted and if she should have put the sweater on to meet his family.
