He’s Saying No To Hosting His Cousin’s Second Wedding On The Property He Inherited From His Grandfather Because She Cheated On Her First Husband With The Guy She’s About To Marry, And His Grandfather Would Not Have Approved

More recently, though, his ownership over the property– and his decision to honor what he believes his grandfather would have wanted– has caused even more turmoil in his family.

Apparently, his twenty-eight-year-old cousin is engaged and will be getting married this fall season. And while he was at his parent’s house last week, his aunt reportedly made a statement about how “the reception will be at the house,” which totally caught him off guard.

He told his aunt that no one had spoken to him about hosting the wedding yet. But according to him, his aunt did not think that was a problem.

Instead, she claimed that since every other cousin had hosted their reception at his grandfather’s home, it should remain a tradition.

And he does not disagree with that per se. However, he claims that all of the other cousins asked if he could host the reception; moreover, he wanted them there. But, he simply does not support this cousin’s wedding for a few reasons.

According to him, he and his cousin are not close. And since they have different political beliefs, he has his cousin muted on social media– meaning that he did not even know she was engaged.

Most importantly, though, he has a huge problem with this being his cousin’s second wedding.

“She cheated on her first husband with this dude– who was also married at the time. My grandpa would never approve of that or want that on his property,” he said.

Not to mention, he claims that if the wedding is held on his property, he will have to be involved in the setup and clean up of the event. And honestly, he just does not care to “sacrifice” his time.

In turn, he told his aunt and cousin that if they wanted to rent the property and his time, they could “pay him a premium” for the short notice. Otherwise, the wedding would not be hosted at his house for free.

And perhaps unsurprisingly, his view on the situation did not go over well with his family. First, his aunt and cousin reportedly “threw a fit” before they enlisted his mother to try and talk to him.
