-1 Eight-Ounce Brie Round
-Jam Of Your Choice
-Chopped Pecans
-Sea Salt
The true beauty of this recipe is that it is so simple you can whip it up within one hour of having company over. Doesn’t that sound like a dream on a busy Christmas morning?
All you need is a pack of Pillsbury crescent rolls, a brie round, any jam of your choice, some chopped pecans, and sea salt for seasoning. As for equipment, this recipe only requires you to use one cupcake or muffin pan– so cleanup will be a breeze!
To start, you should crack open the Pillsbury canister, unroll the crescent dough, and mush together any serrated lines to get rid of the pre-cut triangle shapes. Afterward, you can use a pizza cutter or knife to slice the dough into twelve squares.
Once that is done, you should grab your muffin pan and grease it using cooking spray. Next, place a crescent dough square into each muffin tin and press down in the center.
After your muffin pan is prepped and ready for filling, you can move on to preparing your brie. Grab the cheese round out of your fridge and, again, slice it into twelve evenly-sized squares.
Ashley opted to keep the rind one, but people who dislike the rind can remove it at this stage.
Then, simply plop each brie cube into the center of your dough-filled muffin tins. Finally, before popping these sweet treats in the oven, you can add a dollop of your favorite jam and a sprinkle of chopped-up pecans.
