Method 1
The first method actually allows you to get creative and use your very own powder blush makeup. So, not only can you have a bit of fun experimenting, but you can also perfectly match the “cold girl” look on your cheeks and nose to your mani.
After finding the right shade, scrape some pigment out of the blush pot and onto a clean surface. This will help you avoid cross-contaminating your polish and blush palette.
Next, apply a base, neutral coat, and allow that to dry. Then, go in with a blush or baby-pink coat and wait for that to dry, too.
Once you have applied those two coats, you can start the fun part– adding the blush. First, dab your finger into the blush to pick up a small amount of pigment. Then, begin rubbing your finger in a circular motion in the center of your nail.
The goal is to concentrate the most pigment in the center, with the edges radiating out like a gradient or ombré.
Finally, once you are satisfied, you can apply a clear top coat to seal in the blushy look.
Method 2
A second way to get some beautiful “blush nails” is by going old school and sticking to just polish.
First, throw on a single coat of your favorite pink-based sheer polish. Then, allow it to dry, and pick out your blush color. A simple way to find the best blush polish for you is by comparing it to your favorite makeup blush.
Then, once you have found the right shade, grab a cosmetic wedge and polish a circle of the blush shade onto it. Afterward, you should use the wedge like a stamp and lightly press it onto the center of your nail.
