He Is Refusing To Bring His Ex-Wife To His Son’s Wedding As His Plus-One, And Both His Ex-Wife And His Sister Think It Is Really Unfair

By the time his son turned 18, though, he had moved back in with him full-time in addition to starting college. Since then, his son has also graduated and will now be getting married in just a few short months.

His daughter, too, turned 18 this past summer and decided to live at his house full-time.

Just a few days ago, though, his ex-wife ended up calling him about some brand new drama. Apparently, she was crying and revealed that she had not been invited to his son’s wedding. Moreover, he found out that his son had not spoken to his mother in over a year.

His son did reportedly “drop in” at his ex’s house to see his daughter before she turned 18. But, eventually, that stopped happening. Plus, once his daughter turned 18, she cut off communication with his ex-wife as well.

He seemingly did not know about this, and his ex-wife has apparently been really torn up over it. She also ended up asking if he would be willing to bring her as a plus-one to their son’s wedding. That way, his ex would be able to see her son get married.

Honestly, though, he ultimately told his ex that if their son did not invite her, then it was not his place to bring her anyway.

But rather than understanding the tough position he was put in, his ex started claiming that he was the bad guy.

He got accused of trying to turn the kids against her, and his ex even threatened to take him to court again.

“Then I told her that there was no more custody agreement to take to court since both of them are above age 18, and I hung up,” he said.

Afterward, he also decided to sit down with both his son and daughter to get to the bottom of the situation. He asked if they had really cut off contact with their mother, and they both admitted they had.

And after finding that out, he attempted to explain that the kids did not need to do that for his sake. After all, he recognizes that his ex is still and will always be their mother.
