“I didn’t handle it extremely well. We moved to a table and still had a nice dinner, but the vibe was ruined. I was honest and told him that I was disappointed that we weren’t able to sit at the special table and also worried about his health.”
“But then I dropped it. I don’t harp on it. This wasn’t the first time we had to move tables or leave a new restaurant because they didn’t have a chair for him. It happens all the time, and so we’ve stopped going to new restaurants.”
Yesterday evening, she and her husband then got tickets to attend a sporting event that was happening near where they live, and when they got to the venue, her husband could not fit into the seat he was supposed to sit in.
With no other choice, they just left. Her husband was humiliated and felt so bad.
She really is in love with her husband, but she wants to have a husband that can do dates night with her at restaurants, sporting events, and concerts too.
“I’m really at a loss,” she said. “The few times I have talked about his weight, he ends up crying and telling me not to bring it up. I don’t know what to do anymore.”
