“We are supposed to get married NEXT Saturday, ceremony, reception, and everything, and it’s a big wedding,” he explained.
“She knows that I was tested, but both of us believed there was no way that I could be the dad…honestly, we haven’t really even talked about it because it just felt impossible that I was the dad…I don’t even know what I’m going to tell her, or anybody for that matter.”
After thinking it over, he decided to call his fiancée and tell her over the phone since she’s out of town right now.
Their conversation was difficult and lasted an hour while his fiancée mostly asked him a ton of questions. He didn’t think that she appeared to be angry, just disappointed.
He and his fiancée didn’t make any decisions over the phone, and he’s waiting for her to come home so they can discuss all of this further.
“No concrete decisions,” he added. “Not sure if the wedding is off, but she told me she’ll call me back, and we’ll talk more once she gets back.”
Do you think this is a valid reason for their wedding to be called off, or is this something they can work through?
