She Was Responsible For Bringing A Cake To Her Ex-Best Friend’s Wedding, But After She Was Disinvited From The Event, She Cancelled The Cake Order, And Now The Bride Is Furious

“I wanted to be reimbursed for all of my investments in this wedding,” she added.

It appears that her friend misunderstood what she was saying, though, because her friend’s new maid of honor actually showed up at the bakery to pick up the cake.

And it was at that moment that the new maid of honor– and her ex-best friend– found out that she had canceled the cake order.

Despite the time crunch, her ex-best friend was still able to get another cake– even though she claims that the dessert was reportedly not as nice as the original cake.

So now, she has been getting a lot of pushback from the bride, the groom, and her sister, who still attended the wedding.

Apparently, her sister claimed that it was really unfair of her to cancel the cake and believes that she should have just let her ex-best friend and fiancé “enjoy their special day.”

Then, she could have discussed getting her money back for the cake afterward.

Her ex-best friend has also since referred to the cake as her wedding gift and is claiming that a gift cannot be returned.

“And the groom just agrees with literally anything his precious wife says,” she vented.

As she said, though, the cake was never supposed to be her wedding gift.

Instead, it was just a kind gesture to help out when she realized that her friend was struggling– and she even bought an entirely separate present for the bride and groom.
