And once back at the swimming hole, David returned a pair of pants that belonged to his ex-girlfriend. Afterward, though, David and Sabrina decided not to stick around at the swimming hole any longer. Instead, they left again– with a possible sighting of the pair on Old Albion Road in Springfield Township, although this has never been confirmed.
So, Sabrina leaving the Eagley Park swimming hole was the last confirmed sighting of the 20-year-old before she disappeared.
Once she was reported missing, and authorities questioned David about their afternoon together, he claimed to have taken Sabrina to the West Erie Plaza Movie Theater. Then, David alleged that he gave her money to see the new Lilo & Stitch film and get home afterward.
Authorities have since stated that they do not believe David’s story and indicated that he was a suspect in Sabrina’s disappearance. Nonetheless, David was incarcerated on burglary charges after Sabrina went missing, and no other evidence was ever uncovered. So, the 20-year-old’s case has remained cold, and her family has been left reeling.
“Her blue eyes were so bright and full of life, and I am afraid that this man has taken that away from her. But we have no proof. Sabrina would have called by now. She would have certainly contacted my mother or brother, Scott,” Sabrina’s sister said.
At the time of her disappearance, Sabrina was five foot two, weighed one hundred and thirty pounds, and had dark blonde hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing a two-piece bathing suit, blue shorts, a red or pink top, and blue and white sneakers. Sabrina also had braces and one ear pierced. She would have been 40 years old today. If you have any information regarding Sabrina’s case, you are urged to contact the Erie Police Department at (814) 870-1157.
