This Hair Stylist Is Breaking Down The Differences Between Millennial And Gen Z Clients

The Gen Z client tends to curse a lot and asks if she can throw her things anywhere. This client describes her hair as a wreck, apologizing for not having brushed it in a month. Instead of a natural look, the Gen Z client opts for a super complicated cut. She refers to a trend called the “wolf cut,” implying that Gen Z clients typically ask for a trending haircut, no matter how much it costs.

Before the Gen Z client leaves, she asks if using all Olaplex hair products is a good idea.

“I only use Olaplex,” says the Gen Z client. “All Olaplex.” We know how much this generation loves that line of products!

Alexis’ video blew up, receiving over 943,000 likes.

TikTok users in the comments noticed one major difference between the two generations in Alexis’ video. Millennials tend to be a lot more shy and cautious when entering a room than Gen Z-ers, who can be much more outgoing.

“Millennials have literally been told we are a pain our entire lives, and it shows,” commented one user.

“Gen Z just fully owning the ability to take up space,” commented another user.

No matter your generation, you deserve to take up space and get a great haircut at any age! Just always make sure to treat hairstylists like Alexis with respect. So what do you think are some of the biggest differences between a Millennial and a Gen Z-er?
