Honestly, though, she just is not very comfortable with that living situation.
“I understand it is her choice to keep the child, but I just do not feel like I’m ready to have to help her take care of the baby while I am in school,” she explained.
At the same time, though, she also feels really bad that she is even considering the idea of finding a new roommate. Plus, she believes that as a good friend, she should be there for her current roommate.
“But I really do not want to have a baby in the house, especially when we are all 18 and barely surviving university already. I feel like I am not ready for it,” she vented.
So, she really just cannot imagine herself being happy with her and her friend’s living arrangement next year if her friend keeps the baby.
Still, she has no clue if she should tell her friend how she really feels and has been left feeling completely torn about what to do.
Do you think she needs to live with her friend in order to support her friend during the pregnancy? Is it understandable that she is not ready to live with a baby at the age of 18? If you were in her shoes, how would you approach this situation?
