As time continued to pass, though, things between her eldest daughter and Marco reportedly did not get any better. That’s why when her daughter announced that they were trying to conceive baby number two, she was shell-shocked.
At that point, she asked if Marco had started contributing more, and Gia told her no. But her daughter also claimed that Marco really wanted to try to have a boy– since their first child was a girl.
“And it’s Gia’s life and her business, so I let it go,” she admitted.
Unfortunately, though, after Gia and Marco conceived and baby number two arrived, things between the couple stayed exactly the same.
Around the same period, she was also dealing with a lot of turmoil herself– since her cousin passed away, and she became the guardian of her cousin’s 2-year-old daughter, Evelyn.
So, it was far from easy trying to juggle caring for both Alexis and Evelyn all by herself. Still, she never asked her older children for help with the childcare– and she claims that she never would.
Gia, however, does not seem to understand how much she has on her plate right now. Rather, her eldest daughter keeps subtly making comments about how she should visit her grandchildren more.
She admitted that she had traveled to Gia and Marco’s place a few times. But, she usually ends up telling her daughter that it would be easier if they went to her home.
Well, just recently, her daughter actually blew up on her over the lack of visits. Gia freaked out, claiming to have no help at home. And she also got told that as Gia’s mother, she should be there more for her daughter.
At that point, she was forced to point out how she was already quite busy herself. After all, she is looking after Alexis and a toddler who recently suffered trauma. She also reminded Gia how she is always there for emotional support even if she cannot physically be there.
Still, Gia just kept complaining about how Marco was no help at home. So, she finally hit her daughter with a bit of an “I told you so.”
