While at his daughter’s party, his ex-wife did end up reaching out to touch him after a long conversation, and then when they took photos with their daughter, he touched his wife’s back just as he used to do when they were married.
“When I got back home, I wrote her that she is a great mother to our daughter and that I admire her as a wonderful woman, and that I would never again say some things I said in the past,” he said.
“She replied that my respect means a lot to her. I don’t want to push her, but thinking about everything, I believe it could actually work out if we got together again.”
“I would like to tell her I am open, but at the same time, it feels strange telling this directly. Acting as if she was a random girl I newly met also feels strange. Anyway, I would be glad if we grew closer either as friends or partners.”
