Several TikTok users chimed in, agreeing that perfect attendance awards add zero value to children’s education.

“I had perfect attendance from K-12, and it has benefitted me in absolutely no way,” commented one user.

“I’m an elementary teacher, and I absolutely HATE perfect attendance awards,” declared another.

“Attendance awards bummed me out because there was no universe in which a Jewish kid could honor our holidays and still have perfect attendance at a public school,” wrote a third.
