“We got engaged on Valentine’s Day because (she) told me that it was important to her to be married before having the baby,” he explained.
“I know that too because I know my friend’s family is very conservative. We had to at least be engaged before breaking up the news to them that we were expecting.”
A week ago, he and his best friend’s sister sadly lost their baby, and now he’s left feeling more unhappy than he has ever felt before.
“I still love my ex, and I can’t believe how all my life changed because of one drunk mistake,” he said.
“I was supposed to propose to my ex this Valentine’s Day, and I even had the ring that I saved for 3 years.”
“…I want to call my ex and confess to everything to her now. I know I can’t have her back, but I want her to at least know that I still love her but that I needed to do the right thing and atone for my mistake. I really want to do that, but my sister, who knows everything, told me to just let her go.”
Do you think he should take his sister’s advice and say nothing, or should he finally tell his ex the truth?
