Additionally, when she first started dating her boyfriend, they had a problem in their relationship, and he turned to his best friend for help.
Instead of her boyfriend’s best friend being helpful, the advice she provided to her boyfriend made everything even more terrible than it was, though her boyfriend is convinced his best friend only dishes out excellent advice.
“On top of this, my boyfriend always talks about how all the boys like her, and all his male friends have had crushes on her,” she said.
Her boyfriend has also addressed that all of the girls he dated in the past couldn’t stand his best friend because they were envious of her.
Although her boyfriend’s best friend really does worry her, she’s afraid to say something to her boyfriend, as she doesn’t want to be labeled as jealous.
“So, I don’t want to be lumped in with his “probably jealous” exes, but I just feel really uncomfortable about their relationship,” she continued.
“I don’t like the pedestal he holds her on and the way that she treats me. Separately, all these things seem pretty silly and small, but overall it’s kinda getting to me.”
What advice do you have for her about handling her boyfriend’s best friend?
