She reminded him that her panic attack was caused by something very personal and triggering, and it shouldn’t be made fun of.
“He told me that I was being dramatic and that I was stopping everyone from having fun, so I left,” she recalled. “I grabbed my car keys, and I drove three cities over to my parent’s house.”
Her cousins were at the dinner that night and followed her out in support.
She feels incredibly betrayed by him for trying to treat something so serious like a joke. However, he and some of their friends think the situation isn’t that big of a deal.
