As you can probably guess, her daughter did not listen once again. Therefore, she told her she would not go to the park with grandma.
When she broke the news to her mother-in-law, she got very angry. She told her she was being unreasonable, especially because she had already granted them permission to go, and it was her last day in town.
However, she thinks that in order to discipline her daughter and teach her a lesson properly, she needs to stand her ground.
“I gave multiple warnings, and they’ve spent time together this whole week,” she said. “I am the parent, and my daughter should know actions have consequences.”
