“I’m not a dog person. I despise them on airplanes,” he said. “I do not want to travel with the dog. I do not want to stay the week in the same house as the dog. I do not want [to do] activities based on being dog friendly, and I do not want the dog around my son.”
If he drops out of the trip because he doesn’t like his brother’s dog, he could mess things up for the entire family’s vacation planning.
His parents asked him and his brother to hash things out, but they got into a huge argument. His brother won’t budge on bringing his dog and said that his 18-month-old son would probably be louder and more disruptive than the dog.
“He seems firm on this, and I’m ready to pull out of the trip,” he added. “If I don’t go, the trip may fall apart.”
