After that, we have the hand rolls, which Samantha fills with raw tuna and salmon. They are made with a large piece of nori (roasted seaweed) wrapped around rice, various veggies, and a type of raw fish. Hand rolls are cone-shaped and bigger than the usual bite-sized sushi.
For the next row on the platter, there are maki rolls with more tuna and salmon. Maki sushi includes ingredients such as raw fish, vegetables, and cream cheese.
Then, Samantha adds another line of specialty rolls. To complete the platter, place some mochi, garlic edamame, ginger, wasabi, and a bowl of soy sauce on the board.
The total cost came out to $84.92, which is $21.23 per person.
