As she was doing that, Ella got quite upset, so Riley said to her that she should let Ella keep her craft supplies.
She didn’t agree with Riley at all, and she pointed out to Riley that she didn’t have to give Ella her craft supplies just because she wanted to keep using them.
“I personally feel like I was more than generous by babysitting Ella on my day off (I do have a regular 9-5 job as well) and providing a fun activity for her,” she said.
“Riley pointed out that I have a pretty large stock of items at home, which is true, but still – letting Ella keep the supplies and figurines would’ve been a loss in profit for my business.”
“Ella cried when I didn’t let her keep any of the stuff, and Riley argued that I should have never brought “toys” over if I wasn’t willing to let Ella keep them.”
Since Saturday, Riley has been ignoring all of her texts and calls. She’s convinced that Riley is furious with her still.
She doesn’t understand why Riley is so mad at her because she did do a kind thing by babysitting for free and also bringing a fun thing for Riley to do.
She’s left wondering if it was wrong of her not to allow Ella to have her craft supplies. What do you think?
