She Secretly Moved Her Financial Aid Money For College Into A New Account, Because She Was Concerned About Her Mom Mismanaging That Money

However, recently, her family started planning a trip to the mountains. As the departure date for the trip got closer, her mom started asking about the financial aid money and if it had been deposited yet.

She knew she couldn’t hide the secret from her mom much longer, so she decided to come clean and tell her about the secret account.

But before she could, her mom called her school’s financial aid department and discovered the money had been deposited into a separate account. Her mom was fuming and told her she was a terrible person for lying.

Sadly, her dad and sister didn’t defend her or take responsibility for giving her the idea, so she’s been very isolated in this situation.

Should she have let her mom continue to manage her money, or should she keep her account separate?
