As Aspen neared the end of the escalator, still sitting on the ground, Kasey’s voice went an octave lower as she sternly commanded Aspen to stand up.
The short clip has gained a million and a half views, with several TikTok users discussing in the comments section how the mom voice has played a role in their lives.
“I once ran ahead of my mom in the airport, and she used her mom voice to go ‘STOP’ and apparently also got the businessman in front of her to freeze,” shared one user.
“I once told my son to say excuse me walking past oncoming construction men, and it must have been my best mom tone because all three men said it too!” revealed another.
“As an Aspen, I was not prepared to feel like I was gonna be in trouble. You have a very effective mom voice,” admitted a third user who happened to share the same name as Kasey’s daughter.
And that’s the power of the mom voice!
