She Was Expected To Cook And Serve Food To Her Mom’s New Fiancé While He Hid Out In Her Mom’s Bedroom Due To Social Anxiety, But She Eventually Had Enough And Told Her Mom She’s Not A Servant

Her mom claims that Ted is just highly socially anxious and “scared” of her. So, whenever her mom left the house, he would actually just stay inside her mom’s room and never come out. In fact, the only place he went was to the bathroom!

Perhaps the most bizarre part, though, was whenever her mom was not home, she was expected to cook and serve Ted food.

Now, at first, she claimed that she didn’t mind this and tried to understand that Ted was socially awkward.

After she repeatedly served Ted breakfast and lunch while he hid out in her mom’s bedroom, though, she started to get seriously frustrated.

So, after one week of this “arrangement,” she decided to ask her mom to encourage Ted to get out of the bedroom. That way, he could familiarize himself with both her and the house.

If you could not have guessed, though, Ted only came out of the bedroom once. Then, he just couped himself back up in her mom’s room again.

This meant that her mom instructed her to keep serving Ted food. Quite frankly, though, she was just fed up with his behavior.

So, she ultimately got into an argument with her mom about Ted. And during the fight, she might have made a comment a bit too loudly.

“I said I’m not his…servant and that he should man up and walk around the…house without being afraid of his soon-to-be 16-year-old stepdaughter,” she recalled.

Then, after she said that, she realized that Ted might have heard her– because he wound up leaving the house pretty early. Plus, he has not returned to visit in a week.

She and her mom also have not been speaking much since the fight. And while she thinks the entire situation is childish, she is also starting to feel bad about what happened.
