“We don’t want to have to pay for alcohol or soda,” she said. “It is just a large added expense when we can just do filtered water for a much cheaper cost.”
Once her friends and family found out about the drink situation, they were not happy. She said no to their suggestion of having an open bar. She also received complaints that the wedding would be boring, the kids there would be miserable without something else to drink, etc. However, she doesn’t see the problem.
“I didn’t think this would be a problem,” she added. “It’s only water. I mean, don’t most people drink water every day anyway?”
Should she and her husband spend extra money to at least have soda at their wedding or stick with their water plan?
