Many TikTok users were obsessed with how Dave presented the juicy piece of news, noting that he really knew how to tell a captivating story.
“Pizza is cold by now, but the tea is scalding,” commented one user.
“Omg, he deserves the biggest tip, lol,” stated another.
“The way he gave every detail he has to have sisters,” pointed out a third.
“I would befriend this man so fast! He is awesome! That’s a girl’s man, not a man’s man,” chimed in someone else.
In a follow-up video, Deanna revealed she was able to get in touch with Dave and found out that his last day on the job was due to a genetic disorder called Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy.
After finding out about the struggles he was facing, Deanna wanted to do something to help him out. So she set up a GoFundMe to raise money for Dave and spread the word about the rare muscle disease since not many people know about it. So far, Deanna has raised $7,580 out of the $10,000 goal.
“So if I’ve learned anything about Dave at all, it’s that he just wants to make people smile and laugh and live life to the fullest, so let’s do just that, and let’s keep hyping him up,” said Deanna.
