He remembered the experience as being funny. But when they decided to reveal that the spring rolls contained shrimp to his girlfriend at the end of the meal, she certainly wasn’t laughing.
She became extremely upset with everyone at the table but mostly with him since he knows her eating habits the best. Despite that, he doesn’t understand why she’s placing most of the blame on him since everyone else was in on the “joke.”
“She is saying that it’s not cool to mislead her like that and trick her into eating something she doesn’t want to eat,” he said.
He thinks his girlfriend isn’t making any sense since she not only ate the shrimp spring rolls but seemed to really enjoy them. Now, he feels after the trick he pulled, she should admit to liking shrimp.
