He Purchased His First Home Over A Month Ago, But Now His Girlfriend Wants To Invite Her Mom To Move In Because She’s Struggling Financially

“I am firmly against this,” he explained.

“It’s my house, I’m very much enjoying living on my own, and honestly, I don’t want anyone else here. It’s not my fault that her mom hasn’t done anything to improve her financial situation.”

He’s been having trouble communicating with his girlfriend about the subject, as she’s been avoiding talking to him about it.

However, he can tell deep down that she doesn’t want her mom to stay with them but that she’s also a big pushover for her. It’s a very uncomfortable situation.

Recently, his girlfriend’s sister called him and told him off. She told him that he should let her mom stay with him because he has a bigger house. When he said it was not his mother and not his problem, she accused him of forcing her mom to become homeless.

“I’ve been feeling guilty, but I want to hold my ground,” he said. “I don’t want to enable her mom to sit around here all day drinking.”

Do you think he should hold his ground and not let his girlfriend’s mom live in his house?
