Recently, he revealed his frustration to her when she mentioned wanting to eat at a new fancy restaurant that had just opened up in their area. The restaurant has a very pricey menu, but it has her go-to food: chicken tenders.
When she told him that’s what she would order, he asked her what the point of dining there was if she was just going to order something they could heat up at home in minutes.
“She asked why I had an attitude about this, and I told her that I thought it was a waste of time and money to go to a nice place to get little kid food,” he recalled.
She got mad when he associated her diet and behavior with a child’s and thinks he believes he’s better than her in some way.
What would you do if you were in his position? Should he keep taking her out to nice dinners despite her eating habits?
