Instead of understanding her wishes, her boyfriend continued to argue with her. He claimed that since he’s paying for most of the trip, he’s entitled to invite his friend.
She became so frustrated and felt betrayed by her boyfriend’s actions, so she told him that if his friend joins them on their Paris trip, she won’t go. He told her she was being ridiculous and accused her of being manipulative by trying to make him choose between her and his friend.
