Her Boyfriend Just Bought His First Home And Asked Her To Move In With Him, But He’s Expecting Her To Pay Him Rent

Not only would she pay him rent, but she would also be responsible for a lot of the domestic duties around the house.

After some back and forth, they decided that if she moved in with him, she would pay him a fixed amount of money every month instead of trying to split up a bunch of different bills.

Looking back on their relationship, she’s always struggled to keep up with her boyfriend and his lifestyle financially.

He works hard to make money and should be able to treat himself to what he wants, but she can’t always partake or live the same kind of life.

Her boyfriend has also always been very particular about money and already laid out exactly how he would want to handle their finances if they stayed together far into the future.

He would want to keep their bank accounts totally separated, as he fears that one day she’ll decide to use him for his money.

Then, she realized that if she stayed where she was already living and didn’t have to pay her boyfriend any rent costs, she would save enough to buy her own home by the end of the year.

When she spoke to him, he told her that if she moved into his house and paid him rent, it would benefit his credit.

He also clarified that even if she started living in his house, he would always keep the property in his name.

“I explained to him that I can’t keep up with his lifestyle as I won’t earn as much as he does,” she said.

“However, he became skeptical and hurt, implying that I’m only with him for his money and calling me an idiot for not understanding the situation, for not seeing things as they are.”
