His relationship with his dad or Lucy never got any better, so when he turned 18, he went to live with his aunt, one of his biggest supporters.
Eventually, his grandparents confided in him and told him they weren’t happy about Lucy either, but his dad threatened to cut off communication with their grandchildren if they didn’t show their support.
Sadly, his grandfather passed away in 2020, and his grandmother passed away recently.
“According to their will, only their legal grandchildren are to split a $250,000 inheritance, and since Jessica is legally Lucy’s daughter, all she got was a framed photo of my mom and a letter,” he explained.
Jessica doesn’t think it’s fair that she doesn’t get any of their grandparent’s money, but he thinks she doesn’t deserve any of it because she never bothered to form a close relationship with them as he did.
He met with his other cousins he’ll be splitting the inheritance with, and they all agreed that Jessica shouldn’t receive any of the money. Jessica now wants to challenge the will, and he is more than ready to enter a legal battle and end their relationship.
Should he give Jessica some of the inheritance money or hold his ground?
