As soon as his girlfriend went into the kitchen to grab the desserts, her younger brother decided to propose to his girlfriend in the middle of the party.
“I was mad because he hijacked my girlfriend’s event that she worked so hard for,” he said.
“Before she could answer, I told him to sit down and quit being so rude and disrespectful to his sister.”
After he scolded his girlfriend’s brother, things became very awkward. Her brother and his girlfriend, who was very embarrassed, ended up leaving the party. Because of the tense atmosphere the incident brought on, many other guests ended up leaving early as well.
Later on, his girlfriend’s mom called him and was furious, telling him that he had completely ruined the proposal. Then, his girlfriend’s brother texted him and called him names. Eventually, his girlfriend admitted that although he was sweet for standing up for her, he went a little too far by interrupting the proposal.
Do you think he was wrong for ruining the proposal, or was he right to defend his girlfriend?
