At that point, she decided to just leave and use the different bathroom– which was located down the hall. But, upon getting back to her bedroom, she could clearly hear the guy and girl hooking up through the wall.
So, she was forced to just throw her headphones on and try not to think about it. However, even after that incident, the same thing just kept on happening. Another day, after she entered the bathroom, she saw two people enter the shower.
Now, she assumed they either did not realize she was there or didn’t think she knew there were two people going in the same shower.
Regardless, the pair of college students started hooking up, which pushed her to just get up and leave again. While she was still frustrated, though, she tried to let it go.
But, as of this past week, the shower issue has gotten too hard to ignore. After all, she was just trying to hang out in her dorm room– not listen to other people hooking up.
That’s why one more incident totally pushed her over the edge. Late one night, while she did some laundry, she realized that more people were getting spicy in the bathroom right next to her dorm room.
So, she wound up venting to some friends about the incident, and they encouraged her to talk to her Resident Advisor (RA). At that point, she realized the RA– who just so happened to be her friend– was thankfully on duty.
Afterward, she explained the situation, and the RA wound up agreeing that the incidents were both inappropriate and uncomfortable.
Then, the RA just said they would contact the Resident Director (RD) to send out an email reminder to all of the residents of her dorm hall.
So, she thought that was the end of that. Well, that was until she finally finished her laundry at 2:00 a.m. and still heard people in the shower.
By that point, she had had enough and decided to speak up. More specifically, she decided to open the door to the shower and tell the students in the shower off.
