“She thinks that since it’s basically a different trip, they should have been told,” she said.
Her sister made a big fuss about the country wedding venue being too far for her family, but the trip to Hawaii will take much longer. The plane ride is approximately nine hours long.
Now, her sister is accusing her of leaving her and her kids out of the wedding, which she says will hurt her kids’ feelings. She also accused her of playing favorites since their brother and his kids will attend while she won’t.
“My sister and her family would be five more people, so even if we wanted to re-invite them, they would cause us to go way over budget,” she added.
“The only other option would be to drastically downgrade the trip we promised everyone.”
Her sister says she’s being unfair, but she thinks it would be even more unfair to her other guests if she downgrades the wedding so her sister can attend.
Should she re-invite her sister to her wedding or carry on with the plans she’s already made?
