As soon as she returned to the car, she knew they needed to speed away from there. So she put her car in reverse and drove back down the dirt country path until they were back on a main road.
However, they saw this mystery man one last time before heading home. On their drive back, she said they saw him standing outside his car on the side of the road, smiling and staring into their headlights.
“I don’t know how he got there before us or what his intentions were, but I’m thankful I wasn’t alone being my naive college girl self,” she added.
Even if this story doesn’t freak you out as much as it did me, it holds an important lesson. Don’t get out of your car for an eerie stranger blocking your way home in the middle of the night!
