Her son was extremely angry during the entire vacation and refused to participate in any of the family fun.
Because of his attitude, she then grounded him when they returned home. She wanted to teach him that he shouldn’t “prioritize work over family.”
Thankfully, her son was able to find a job at another pool two weeks later, but he’s still very upset with her and her husband.
“He claims we didn’t respect his choices, and he’s right, we don’t respect him trying to choose his job over family time,” she added. “Though we don’t hold it against him since he’s just a teen.”
Was she wrong for making her son lose his job to go on vacation, or should she and her husband have let him stay home?
