She Says She’s No Longer Nice To Men That Don’t Deserve Her Kindness, Specifically When They Make Her Feel Uncomfortable Or Unsafe

She then recalls another couple of incidents in her gym with one man who wouldn’t leave her alone anytime he saw her. She tried her best to politely tell him she wasn’t interested and that she lived with her boyfriend, but he continued to follow her out to her car, trying to follow her home.

Drew reminds her audience that these kinds of things happen all the time. Drew says that when men say terrible things about women on the internet, they can just log off and never have to think about the consequences. But it’s women out in the real world that have to deal with those consequences every day.

“So I made a promise a long time ago that I’m never gonna waste time being nice to a man that doesn’t deserve it,” says Drew. “Especially when I’m alone, especially when I’m in public.”

Drew then points out that one of the things in common between her two gym stories was that there were tons of men in the facility who just stood by and watched her get harassed.
