She Stopped Having Her Daughter’s Best Friend Over For Dinner Because Of How Picky The Little Girl Was

Apparently, the first time Beth ever stayed over for dinner, she cooked some roasted chicken. At that point, Beth’s parents had not given her a heads-up about the little girl’s preferences, so she assumed the chicken would be fine.

Beth just wound up refusing to eat the dinner, though, and asked to snack on Goldfish crackers instead.

So, after that first playdate, she ultimately asked Beth’s parents for a list of safe foods that the little girl likes to eat.

“And I have made those items, but Beth always finds something wrong with them and refuses to eat,” she recalled.

For instance, she once made a pasta dish for her family. But, she only served Beth some plain pasta since she knew the little girl did not like any kind of sauce.

Unfortunately, though, Beth still refused to eat it– because apparently, she made penne pasta, and the 8-year-old only liked to eat farfalle.

Other foods Beth will eat include chicken, cheese pizza, french fries, grilled cheese, and chicken nuggets. But, the little girl will only eat chicken if it is boneless and skinless chicken thighs. As for pizza, Beth only likes pizza from Domino’s without sauce on it.

And even though Beth does like french fries and grilled cheese, she once got those items for Beth from a fast food place, but the little girl still wouldn’t touch the items since they had been in the same bag as her daughter’s burger.

Finally, she had tried to feed Beth chicken nuggets before, but Beth still refused to eat them since they didn’t look like dinosaurs.

So, since she has tried countless accommodations and none of them ever worked, she started to get really sick and tired of the 8-year-old’s pickiness. And this pushed her to start arranging her daughter’s playdates so that way they ended before dinner time.

Eventually, though, Beth’s parents started to catch on, and they asked why she never offered to host Beth for meals anymore.
