So, she and her husband took all of the kids in their house to her mother-in-law, and they went home and sat down with her in-laws to have a chat.
She and her husband laid out the 3 options to her in-laws, but it did not go over well at all. Her in-laws accused her of being a terrible person for “tricking them” into signing a lease for the apartment, yet wanting to consider kicking them out.
She pointed out that they had other options, before also saying her siser-in-law was the one who dumped babysitting duties on her son.
“I said that I was basically the one supporting her and if she couldn’t help then she had to give me money or leave,” she said.
Her sister-in-law and sister-in-law’s husband aren’t working, yet they are getting unemployment and are able to buy groceries with that money.
She’s left wondering if it was problematic of her to tell her in-laws they’re about to be homeless unless they can respect her working from home and agree to actually help out. What do you think?
