That’s why after her sister recently announced yet another person’s college acceptance, she just finally snapped and told her sister off.
“Okay, you don’t need to tell me every time you find out that someone got into a college I was rejected from. I am happy for them, but really? Chances are I already know they got in because they’re in my grade, and I follow them,” she responded to her sister.
It appears her sister just didn’t understand that, though, and got pretty mad at her. Ever since then, her sister has also been giving her the cold shoulder.
So, she started reflecting on the situation and realized that her sister probably did not mean to be hurtful.
And now, she’s wondering if telling her sister off was the wrong way to handle the situation.
Do you think her sister was really just being oblivious? Or should it have been obvious how upsetting her sister’s constant comments were? Did she do the right thing by telling her sister off or not? What would you have done?
